![]() ![]() Instead of using the HYDROS DC Micro Pump as your ATO pump, you can use the HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve instead. It has 1/4" push-connect fittings to insert standard RO tubing quickly and easily. The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve should be connected to the product line coming off your reverse osmosis system. This closes the valve to stop the flow of reverse osmosis water. When the sensor senses that the water level is replenished, it will tell the Control 2 or Control 4 to shut off power to the solenoid. When the sensor detects the water level is low, it opens the valve to allow fresh RO or RO/DI water to flow through and top-off your tank or sump. The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve works in conjunction with a HYDROS aquarium controller and an optical or mechanical water level sensor. ![]() You can connect the solenoid to your reverse osmosis filter and use it to top-off your tank if you don’t have the room available for a separate ATO reservoir. The HYDROS Command Bus is used to power the Control as well as communicate with other HYDROS devices for the ultimate failsafe. The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve is a handy HYDROS Control 2 and Control 4 accessory that provides easy on/off RO or RO/DI water flow. Solenoids to control reverse osmosis systems. The exact current being supplied by each port is continuously monitored by the Control, so if a motor or pump quits drawing current or draws too much, you will be immediately notified. The Drive Ports provide switched 12V DC power for running small lights, motors, pumps, fans, and other accessories. Capacitive non-contact liquid level sensors.Optical level sensors (single and dual).A Sense Port is a generic input port that can accept data from numerous different types of sensors. ![]() HYDROS devices include several Sense Ports. The Sense Port is a new concept in aquarium parameter measurement.
